JCPA Mission: Aims & Scope JCPA Mission The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis: Research and Practice (JCPA) has pioneered comparative policy studies since 1998 and it still is the only explicitly comparative journal of policy analytic studies. It aims to stimulate the intellectual development of comparative policy studies and the growth of an international community of scholar exploring global inter- and intra-policy making. The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis encourages interdisciplinary publications among policy domains, as well as those at the intersection of public policy, sociology, public affairs, management and governance. The The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis invites manuscripts of the highest scholarship standards which make a significant contributions to the theory, methodology and empirical analysis of comparative policy studies, public affairs and administration. The manuscripts are expected to address at least one of the JCPA Aims and Scope. Published five times per year and rigorously double-blind reviewed, the The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis is sent to ICPA-Forum members according to the following schedule: January, March, July, October, and December. JCPA Aims and Scope The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis articles are expected to contribute to at least one the following JCPA AIMS and SCOPE: Comparative Theory Development Comparative Theory Testing Comparative Methodology Development The Evaluation of Comparative Research Methods Comparative Empirical Policy Research The Practice Implications of Comparative Public Policy Lesson-Drawing and Extrapolation Special Sections The The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis welcomes submissions to each of these sections: Policy Innovation; Comparative Policy Statistics and Analytics; Dialogue, Debates, and Controversies; Comparative Syllabi; and Book Reviews. Special Symposia Publications The The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis welcomes proposals for Special Symposia Issues on a variety of topics and disciplines, and which address the JCPA Aims and Scope. Annual Award for the Best Comparative Article The The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis and ICPA-Forum extend the Annual Award for the Best Article in the JCPA in line with its mission statement of advancing high scholarly standards and significant contribution to the field. We extend to the winners a Certificate and a monetary award. The articles are adjudicated by an international adjudication committee.
