Call for Papers – JCPA Special Section: “Qualitative Comparative Policy Analysis”

Consider submitting your qualitative comparative research paper to the new section of the JCPA!

 

The section seeks to advance qualitative comparative public policy analysis a comparative qualitative lens, while paying attention to context and processes that reveal relational aspects among actors and institutions, such as interactions over time, across policy sectors and/or jurisdictions, as they relate to public policy.

 

In our introductory article (available here), we outline the vision for this section and the key directions we aim to explore.

 

Papers are expected to be explicitly comparative by adhering to the criteria set by the Journal’s Aims and Scope.

Please feel free to write to us in case you have questions or would like to discuss a potential submission. We look forward to advancing the study of qualitative comparative policy analysis together.

 

You may submit by April 10, to be replaced by please submit a 500 word abstract to us to assess whether your study fits the section (by email to qualicompjcpa@gmail.com). Alternatively, you may directly submit your article through the JCPA submissions portal for the Qualitative Comparative Special Section.
